Firefighters responded late on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 to a reported structure fire on Albany St.

As units arrived they found a detached garage and the two vehicles inside it fully involved and threatening the neighboring houses. A large diameter hose line was immediately deployed and put into service by the crew of Truck 10. Additional crews from Midway Fire Department and Colonie Fire Company arrived shorty after and provided additional water and manpower. The fire was quickly knocked down preventing its spread to the homes on either side.
