NISKAYUNA – Ruby Tuesday in Mohawk Commons was forced to be evacuated on Friday night.

According to the Stanford Heights Fire Chief five people were transported to the hospital.

The Fire Chief said that they received a call for a strange odor and upon arrival they received complaints from several people inside about nausea and vomiting. The Fire Chief said it appears to have originated inside the restaurant.

Officials say the restaurant in Niskayuna is closed for the night.
